Smart drink company Go Mate has announced a partnership with esports tournament platform Challengermode.\nAs a result of the deal, the two parties will join forces to host a series of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 tournaments taking place when the battle royale title launches.\nThe deal expands on an existing collaboration which sees the energy drink brand promote its products on the platform in addition to hosting tournaments in League of Legends, Rocket League and VALORANT.Challengermode’s platform will begin hosting Warzone 2.0 tournaments when the game launches on November 16th. Players will have the option to compete in weekly duos tournaments with cash prizes provided by Go Mate. In addition to providing prize pools for tournaments, Go Mate will launch its range of all-natural energy drinks aimed at the esports and gaming markets.\nFounded in 2021, Go Mate is no stranger to esports. In July, it partnered with Danish esports organisation Astralis to collaborate on a range of campaigns and activations.\nFor Challengermode, the partnership continues its rapid expansion. In recent months, the platform launched its mobile application and also joined forces with KRAFTON to become the platform of the PUBG NextPro Series.Philip Hubner, Chief Business Development Officer at Challengermode, spoke on the deal: “We are incredibly excited to be working with Go Mate on the first Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 tournament on the Challengermode platform.
